Alexander Wolfe is a writer, gardener, and three time public choice finalist for “Most Ineffective Serial-Killer In The Greater Great Plains Area”. Their work, (oft noted as “interesting”, “really something”, and “please stop badgering me for quotes about your work, Alex”), has been performed in a variety of new play festivals, one act celebrations, and several stuttering Zoom windows. With a love of the macabre and a burning passion for story structure, Alexander’s work is usually quite dark, often a bit humorous, and occasionally even thought provoking. With the partnership of one Monte D. Monteleagre, Alexander Wolfe helped found Wolf Mountain Workshop, a national creative endeavor that has brought together a bevy of artists to produce high-quality, do-it-yourself, audio-fiction.

Monte D. Monteleagre is a liar by trade and a cheat by choice. Naturally, they ended up in theatre. Monte's plays have been on stage with the Act One: One Act festival, Queer Spooky Shorts with TOSOS, and Bad Mouth Theatre Company. They've produced shows with Cut/Edge Collective, Rogue Theatre Company, and Denver Fringe. Digitally, they've done work with the Equity Library Theater, Caravan Theatre, and the Queerantine Virtual Fringe Festival. Monte, along with Alexander Wolfe, is one of the founders of Wolf Mountain Workshop, which is currently focused on producing and publishing audio fiction in podcast form. He is a writer, director, producer and more on inc: The Podcast and a variety of projects on Tales From Wolf Mountain. Monte has won awards from True Acting Institute, Smith and Kraus, Denver Fringe, and wherever else they can steal an award from.

Together, Alexander and Monte make up Wolf Mountain Workshop, which produces the podcast "Tales from Wolf Mountain." This podcast is a bevy of continually strange and occasionally macabre stories from these two creative minds, a home for short-run audio fiction. In addition to featuring their podcast, for this installment of our Countdown to 2025, they collaborated with FKT Admin Member Brynn Hambley to create a virtual experience we are honored to share with our community. Thank you so much to these three artists for letting us feature their work on our platforms and honoring them today and tomorrow! As they say over at Wolf Mountain Workshop:
Join us around the fire.
