Worst Play Ever

This is the worst play ever. No seriously, I challenge you to find one worse. I wrote this

for a writing assignment in college a few years back and it almost broke my playwriting professor (Sorry Kenny!). So, apologies in advanced. But, even though it’s the worst play ever, it never fails to bring a

smile to my face and I hope it will do the same for you.

Playwright and screenwriter, Max Berry, grew up in the small town of Johnstown, Ohio where, he began his theatrical journey primarily as an actor and ballet dancer. Upon arriving in New York City to study theatre at Marymount Manhattan College, Max committed fully to writing. His plays have been featured in multiple theaters around New York City. His play “Treehouse of Dreams” had its world premiere at the

Hudson Guild Theatre in January of 2019 as a part of their New York Theatre Festival. He has also had plays featured at the Players Theatre and Manhattan Repertory Theatre. Max is beginning his 2 nd year as a

resident artist with First Kiss Theatre Company in 2022. In April of 2021 he was commissioned by First Kiss to write the interactive Zoom play, “Same Time Next Year”. Max is the creator and co-writer of the

comedy webseries, “Hey, Professor!” that premiered on YouTube in the summer of 2021 and was an official selection for NYCWebfest 2021. Currently, Max is a writer on the webseries “Drama High” created by Jessica Chen and a writer for the theatre magazine Encore Monthly. He is currently in the early process of filming a television pilot in addition to working on several new writing projects.
